Kandy’s Corner is a private, non-commercial family site operated by Joshua Watson. Its low-volume text program sends invitation and family-update notifications from (317) 779-1497.
How people opt in
People visit the public Request Access form at kandys-corner.thinksynergy.biz, select Request access, enter their name and mobile number, and may check the separate text-notification consent box. The box is optional and unchecked by default. It identifies Kandy’s Corner and Joshua Watson, describes recurring invitation and family-update texts, states the message limit and that message and data rates may apply, and provides STOP and HELP instructions. People may submit an access request without agreeing to text notifications.
Exact consent disclosure
The optional checkbox says: “I agree to receive recurring Kandy’s Corner invitation and family-update texts from Joshua Watson through (317) 779-1497. Message frequency varies and will not exceed 10 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not required to request or receive access.” The checkbox is not preselected.
Messages sent
The first message explains the invitation, identifies Kandy’s Corner and Joshua Watson, links to the private site, and includes STOP instructions. Later messages announce that a new family update is available; medical details are not placed in text messages.
